MDKD COVIDSafe Plan

• MDKD Instructors will ‘Check In’ to a Child Care Centres displayed QR Code prior to Instructing class.

• MDKD Instructors have current Influenza Certificate of Vaccination and are Double Vaccinated against Covid 19.

• MDKD Instructors have completed Government Infection Control Training – COVID 19.

• MDKD follows current advice given by National and Local authority on how to protect yourself and others from COVID 19.

• MDKD Instructors follow COVIDSafe plans implemented at the Child Care Centre where MDKD classes are conducted.

• All MDKD Instructors are committed to avoiding large gatherings and practice hand hygiene in public shared spaces (i.e) shops, cafés and public transport.

• MDKD Instructor who is unwell and displays symptoms are to stay at home, seek medical advice and be tested before returning to Child Care Centres.

• MDKD Instructors hands are washed and sanitised before entering Child Care Centre and again after class conducted.

• Respiratory etiquette is always used by MDKD Instructor and they maintain a 1.5m distance from anyone coughing or sneezing.

• The use of costumes & equipment when usually shared by children is limited and deep cleaned with disinfectant after use.

• No equipment and/or prop bag will be shared between Child Care Centre’s on the same day (i.e) a different MDKD themed class at each Child Care Centre.

• Disinfectant wipes will be used in every class, children are encouraged with help to wipe down equipment (i.e) musical instrument before and after use.

• Instructors deep clean and disinfectant daily MDKD equipment & prop bags after use.

• Instructors disinfect daily the use of their personal car (i.e) steering wheel, door handles & radio) and home, (i.e) doorknobs, light switches & taps).

• Classes can be held outdoors if required.
